I think one of the most popular cards I get asked to make is a sympathy card for someone who has lost a pet. Many of the recipients have told me they keep the card with other mementos from their pet's life in a special memory box. The above card is made with bits of scraps I had in my paper drawers. Pale yellow is such a nice balance for black and really softens the look. I love the "In remembrance" bone and the sheer yellow ribbon with a paw brad in the centre. RIP, Barney.
