I had a request to make a card for a themed wedding shower where everything is going to be British. I wasn't really sure how an English shower would differ from a Canadian one so went for the obvious - the British flag. Hopefully the girl likes the card - I think it's kind of cute. The flowers are Prima, rub-on is Melissa Frances and the lace, ribbon and pearl stick-ons are from my collection of stuff and more stuff.
This pretty card was made for a wedding shower but it could really be for anything love-y like a wedding or anniversary. I like the look of the gathered lace at the top and the colours are so soft and romantic.
I have had this Melissa Frances tag for some time and thought it would be perfect for a wedding shower card I was asked to make. To me, it just oozes love and romance. I combined it with some bits and pieces of equally romantic paper and borders then added some pink Prima flowers and a Melissa Frances rubon. These tags are so easy to use and the perfect size for cards. 
I think one of the prettiest colour combinations has always been black and white. This is a very pretty wedding shower card that owes a nod to Beatriz Jennings for inspiration. The black velvet paper is from Doodlebug and looks so rich against the white. The heart was cut from Cricut "George" and then accented with some white lace ribbon. Rub-ons are from Melissa Frances, flower from Prima and the black brads from Michaels "Recollections". 
What a beautiful day today is. My snow tires are off and I am ready for the good weather. I have so much to do today, I'm not sure where to start. With great plans to rise early this morning, I, of course, slept in and now am badly behind the mental schedule I had written for the day. Oh well, don't sweat the small stuff and I'll just get done what I can. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
